Our People

Craig Durston
General Manager

Craig joined The Cuisine Group in July 2007 to develop important marketing strategies, systems, quality controls and to oversee the vitally important and expanding sales arm of The Cuisine Group. His role includes marketing planning and implementation, developing business relationships with clients and venues, maintenance of account clients, event management and representing the company with industry associations.

Craig has worked in the catering and event management industry for the past 16 years in two countries and has incorporated a BA Honours Degree in Business Studies & Marketing to further this experience and operate at a strategic level. Craig has an inherent understanding of the sales process and is able to successfully apply the industry specific knowledge to this.

Before his appointment to The Cuisine Group, Craig worked for Avocado Group providing premium gold license catering and venue services. Craig's efforts were instrumental in securing the catering contracts to Exchange Square (on the floor of The Australian Stock Exchange), The Powerhouse Museum & The Historic Houses Trust - and in doing so defined a mutually beneficial relationship with the Venue Management. Craig has the knowledge and experience of working with unique venues and museums where the balance between financial return and maintaining core museum goals is imperative.

With his extensive knowledge in marketing, an understanding of the event market requirements and venue and caterer integration, together with experience in supervising functions of up to 5,000 people Craig is able to take a global perspective on clients needs and provide solutions that surpass their expectations.

Adam Dundas Taylor
Executive Chef

Our Chef Adam has had a long established relationship with the hospitality industry, where he has worked in many award winning restaurants and event catering companies world wide.

Adam moved to Europe in 2002 where he embarked on a long journey to expand his culinary skills. He was one of the chefs responsible for the opening of Jamie Oliver's restaurant '15' in London . He then crossed over to Japanese-Peruvian cuisine at world rated restaurant 'Nobu London'. “This is where I really learnt to appreciate flavours and combinations. My main focus on food is gently moulding different flavours between different cuisines”.

After returning to Australia briefly to focus on catering for large events like the Aria awards he went back to London and joined an elite London event catering company; ‘Rhubarb Food Design', which was responsible for many A list events and private functions including Elton John's wedding. He says, “Working in an environment with constant change and talented chefs has helped me stay focused, creative and grounded”.
